Program Specifics
At Talia’s Team, we understand that everyone’s time is valuable, and we’re committed to creating a mentorship program that fits into your life while still making a profound impact.
Here’s what you can expect as a mentor or mentee:
Mentor/Mentee Levels of Involvement
We offer three levels of participation to accommodate different schedules:
- Inspiration Mentor (Minimal Commitment): 2-4 hours per month.
• Involvement: Participate in monthly virtual group mentoring sessions, lead discussions, and provide resources to mentees.
• Best For: Professionals with limited time who want to make an impact through guidance and expertise.
- Empowerment Mentor (Moderate Commitment): 4-8 hours per month.
• Involvement: In addition to group mentoring, you’ll have one-on-one virtual or in-person sessions with a mentee to build a stronger connection.
• Best For: Women with flexible schedules who want to provide deeper mentorship.
- Legacy Mentor (Full Commitment): 10+ hours per month.
• Involvement: Engage in one-on-one mentoring, host workshops, and participate in community events to support the overall mission of Talia’s Team.
• Best For: Individuals passionate about becoming fully immersed in shaping young lives.
Grade Levels
We focus on mentorship for girls in grades 6-12, broken into two cohorts to address age-specific needs:
• Junior Team: Grades 6-8. Focus on building self-esteem, setting goals, and navigating early adolescence.
• Senior Team: Grades 9-12. Focus on leadership, college/career readiness, and cultivating independence.
Industries Represented
We aim to provide mentees with exposure to diverse industries to spark inspiration and interest in future careers. Mentors are sought from:
• STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math)
• Education and Academia
• Arts and Entertainment
• Health and Wellness
• Law and Public Service
• Business and Entrepreneurship
• Military and Government
State/Region
Talia’s Team currently operates in Texas, with plans to expand regionally and nationally. Mentorship is available both in-person (for Texas participants) and virtually (for those in other states).
